Jets parents were on their way home to Orlando from a family baby shower in Pennsylvania. After the emergency landing, Jet was immediately sent to the MUSC Pediatric Emergency Department and ultimately the NICU, according to a press release from MUSC spokesperson Heather Woolwine. He was placed on a ventilator and given medicine to help with his breathing. Woolwine said Jet is in critical condition. Such skills as snow shelter building, snowshoeing, and animal tracking will be taught and practiced at a Guided Family Adventure program titled “Winter in Pinkham Notch” over the Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, Jan. 14-16.
